0500 Drop In KnittingTuesdays 11 am - 1 pm; Wednesdays 7 pm - 8:30 pm; Thursdays 1 pm - 3 pm; Fridays 10 - noon If you have a project that you need help with, would like to learn to knit, or just want knitting company, then stop in and well have a capable knitter there to help. All instructors can also assist with crochet questions. No reservations required. $10 per session or 6-session card for $50, no materials fee
2536 Socks & Things on Two Circular NeedlesOn going; 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month, 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm Learn to use two circular needles instead of double pointed ones to make beautiful socks, mittens, hats, or anything knit in the round. The method is fun to learn and makes knitting in the round faster and easier. Reservations required by Thursday before the class. Ana Ouzounian, $15 per session, no materials fee

1815 Open WeavingDates: Mondays, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Come to learn to weave, have company while you weave, set aside some time for weaving or just because you love Sammie and Clara! Now you don't have to wait for a beginning weaving class to get started weaving. Gain confidence dressing the loom and learning new techniques in a safe comfortable environment with people of like minds. If you are a returning weaver (you did it in the 80s and you haven't done it since), want to weave an 8-shaft pattern and you only have 4-shafts at home, took a beginning weaving class and haven't done it since, or just need a little freshening of your skills, this is the perfect place to come. We have six looms available for use. You may also weave during the week as long as the shop is open and you don't need assistance. Reserve your loom and block of time today! Required supplies and equipment: Tape measure, scissors, thrums for dressing the loom, rubber bands, electrical ties or something that can be used to attach the tie-on bar to the apron rod, shuttles, bobbins, heddle hook, reed hook.
