1810 Warping Using a Trapeze

Date: Monday, August 4, 1 pm to 3 pm, one session

It's not a circus trick, it really works! They have been used by many over the years for their many advantages: affordable to build/buy, create a near-perfectly tensioned warp, remove the need to have help to dress your loom, and speed the warping process. A trapeze will not do your tie-up or thread the heddles or reed, but it is a pretty dandy tool! This class will walk you through the entire process of warping using a trapeze and talk a bit about weaving ergonomics - photographs are invited and encouraged!

Required supplies and equipment: none

Books (optional): Warp with a Trapeze and Dance with Your Loom by Kati Reeder-Meek.
