Heritage will be open on Sundays All Summer Long!

We've decided to give you more shopping time when you're available--on weekends. Come enjoy our hospitality on Sundays! Sundays are pretty laid back here at the shop and we want to share that with you. It is a good time to shop in leisure, browse the pattern books, just relax. PLUS! join us each Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 for Sit & Knit. This is not a knitting help time, just a time to visit with friends and get some knitting (or spinning) done. Sunday hours will continue as in the winter: 12 pm to 4 pm.

The Heritage Club: Are you a member? Become a member of the Heritage Club and get a whole slew of great benefits:

• 10% off regularly priced yarn and fiber all the time - you don't even have to ask for the discount or show your card, it will automatically be deducted at time of purchase.
• 3 free visits to Drop In Knitting.
• $5 off one class.
• One hour early admittance to sales (first day of sales only).
• Also participating are Poppy Seed Coffee & Deli (10% off total bill) and Insel Haus Bed and Breakfast (10% off all rooms during peak season, 20% off during non-peak).

The cost to join the club is just $50. The bottom line is: if you spend just just $150 in yarn, attend one class and three drop in sessions, you've paid for your card. Cards are valid for one year from date of purchase.

• Prepare for next winter with Beth Brown-Reinsel of www.knittingtraditions.com as she presents a slide show on Twined Knitting, Past and Present (October 10), Maine Mittens (October 11), and Norwegian Mittens (October 12), all in 2008
• Arnhild Hillesland of www.arnhild.com, March 14 & 15, 2009, will present Norwegian Knitting.
• March 10 - 12, 2010 will bring Kati Reeder Meek to teach Lustrous Linens: Weaving Linens with Success
