Schacht Looms

A rigid heddle loom, great for weaving with all those wonderful knitting yarns available today. It can fold with a project on the loom, making it very portable indeed. And it's designed to allow you to wind your warp directly on the loom--no warping board needed! You can order the floor stand (shown) for more weaving comfort, or simply place the loom on any table.

The ultimate in space-saving portability while not sacrificing weaving flexibility, the Schacht Table Loom can't be beat. Having the levers in the center of the castle makes it suitable for left- or right-handed operation, making it easier to develop good rhthym while weaving.

This cute little loom is a great starter loom, or workshop loom, or just a loom for weaving out on the porch on warm days, next to the fireplace in winter. It folds easily, even with a warp on it. We also have the Wolf Pup Raddle in stock.

The next step up in Schacht looms, the very portable Baby Wolf offers all the flexibility of large floor looms at a very affordable price. In addition, accessories including a double warp beam and a sectional beam are available, making it suitable for more sophisticated weaving than perhaps any other portable folding loom on the market today. A really worth-while first loom to invest in.

Ten inches wider than the Baby Wolf, with all the features that make the Wolf series of looms fun, easy-to-use, and space-conscious. The Mighty Wolf folds, and with the stroller, is reasonably portable from room-to-room and to workshops.

The Schacht Standard Floor loom is rock-solid, built to last generations. It comes with enough tie-up cords to have one for every treadle and shaft, so you have more flexibility in your tie-up choices. An optional tool tray sits on top of the castle, and the optional raddle is very well built, including enough pegs to divide your warps into 1/2" bouts if you wish.
