SUMMARY:Miniature Pumpkin Lanterns - Make & Take\, 1 of 1
DESCRIPTION:Day/Date/Time: Saturday\, 10/25/2025\, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. This Make & Take session meets once. \nDescription: Make these adorable 1” lighted pumpkin lanterns in this 2-hour Make & Take session. You will receive a kit with everything you need to make 2 pumpkin lanterns\, and special instruction for creating the pumpkin “stem” that will turn the lantern on and off. These little pumpkins can be made easily into earrings to wear for the fall season or set with miniatures for a display. \nRequired Supplies/Equipment/Books: The kit you receive will include all the yarn to make 2 pumpkins\, stuffing\, 2 small lights and notes on how to make these adorable pumpkins. Extra kits will be available for purchase. (These notes are not in the free pattern download and are only available in the kits.) \nYou will need a set of US size #1 double-pointed needles or a US size #1 circular needle for magic loop. I recommend DPNs over magic loop\, but it is up to the knitter to decide. The pumpkins can also be knit flat and seamed if you prefer. If you need to purchase needles let us know when you register and we will set them aside for you. Other supplies required include a darning needle\, scissors\, stitch markers and a magnifying glass if needed. \nThe free pattern is available on Ravelry at this link: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/acorn-and-pumpkin-lantern. Before coming to class\, please download and print the pattern or have the digital pattern downloaded on your device to access during class. \nPrerequisite: You will need to be able to knit and purl in the round on DP/magic loop or knit and purl flat on small needles. \nPre-Class Prep: Download the free pattern from Ravelry. \nInstructor: Dorinda Balanecki \nMaximum: 8 students \nFee: $15.00 \nClick to Register
