DESCRIPTION:Knitting Help – Wednesdays\, 11:00 pm to 4:00 pm. No reservations are needed. \nWhether you are new to knitting\, returning to knitting\, or are working on a pattern using a technique new to you\, we are here to help you. One visit is $10 for one hour. Purchase a card of six one-hour sessions for $50 and save. We look forward to helping you along. If you have questions about color or Fair Isle/stranded knitting\, we highly recommend you book a private lesson with our guru\, Joan. Visit our web store for details.\n$10 per hour • $50 for 6 hours with a Knitting Help Card\, which can be purchased in the web store or in person. \nAlmost anytime before 5 pm for 15 minutes (pending staff availability – calling ahead is a good idea) \nSpecial and Private Lessons: \nOne-on-One: $45 per hour\, plus $25 for each additional hour\, if used at the same time as the first hour of the lesson. \nSemi-Private Lessons: If you select semi-private lessons\, you must purchase a session for each participant in one cart\, and you must list all participants along with their emails in the “order notes” section of the checkout page. \n$30/hour each for two students\n$20/hour each for three+ students\nThe fee for each additional hour is $15 per person\, if used with the first hour of the lesson. \n

DESCRIPTION:Day/Date/Time:  Wednesday\, 12/3/2025\, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. This class meets once. \nDescription: Weave a holiday-themed band using 8/2 cotton – chose from Christmas (red\, white\, green)\, Hanukkah (blue and white)\, or Kwanzaa (black\, red\, green). You will warp and begin weaving in class\, but you will not finish the band in class. Using paper strips\, you will practice making the woven star ornament. The class fee includes complete instructions and weaving yarn. \nRequired Supplies/Equipment/Books: 21 heddles (handmade or Texsolv)\, scissors\, inkle loom\, belt shuttle\, white glue\, and hot glue gun. Neither type of glue will be used in class\, but they will be demonstrated. You will need them to assemble your star after you finish the weaving. If you have a mini-inkle\, you may have to warp twice to get enough yardage to weave the band. \nPrerequisite: Must know how to warp and weave on an inkle loom. \nPre-Class Prep: None \nInstructor: Joan Sheridan \nMaximum: 8 students \nFee: $65.00 \nClick to Register
