DESCRIPTION:Day/Date/Time: Saturday\, 1/3/2026\, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. This class meets once. \nDescription: In this class you will learn to knit in a small group. We’ll start with casting on (getting yarn onto the needles)\, then making the knit stitch\, purl stitch and binding off. We’ll talk about stitch patterns\, yarn choice\, finding and reading knitting patterns\, ideas for beginner projects and resources if you get stuck. \nThis class is for anyone brand new to knitting as well as those interested in refreshing their skills. Karrie is a patient and encouraging instructor\, which along with the small class size\, ensures you can go at your own pace and get all your questions answered. \nAges 12+\, students 8-11 may register along with a registered adult. \nRequired Supplies/Equipment/Books: Size US #8 or #9\, 16” or 24″ circular knitting needles and one (1) skein of light-colored worsted weight yarn (we suggest Kelbourne Woolens Germantown) purchased from Heritage Spinning & Weaving. \nPrerequisite: None \nPre-Class Prep: Please bring yarn and needles to class or allow yourself extra time to purchase before class. \nInstructor: Karrie Roever \nMaximum: 2 students \nFee: $45.00 \nClick to Register
