Day/Date/Time: Saturday, 11/1/2025, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. This Make & Take session meets once.
Description: Make these adorable 1” lighted acorn lanterns in this 2-hour Make & Take session. You will receive a kit with everything you need to make 2 acorn lanterns, and special instruction for creating the acorn “stem” that will turn the lantern on and off. These little acorns can be made easily into earrings to wear for the fall season or set with miniatures for a display.
Required Supplies/Equipment/Books: The kit you receive will include all the yarn to make 2 acorns, stuffing, 2 small lights and notes on how to make these adorable acorns. (These notes are not in the free pattern download and are only available in the kits.) Extra kits will be available for purchase.
You will need a set of US size #1 double pointed needles or a US size #1 circular needle for magic loop. I recommend DPNs over magic loop, but it is up to the knitter to decide. The acorns can also be knit flat and seamed if you prefer. If you need to purchase needles let us know when you register and we will set them aside for you. Other supplies required include a darning needle, scissors, stitch markers and a magnifying glass if needed.

Prerequisite: You will need to be able to knit and purl in the round on DP/magic loop or knit and purl flat on small needles.
