Shelby Z. Newhouse began his career as an actor, announcer and newsman in radio, television,and live venues. His desire to uncover the facts behind a story and broadcast his findings,whether to champion a cause, expose an injustice, or simply inform and entertain, led him tocommercial and documentary filmmaking full time. His films have received multiple awardsand honors including 3 Cine Golden Eagles, a Landers Award for "Heritage in Black", 2 localEmmys, and 2 nationals for "And Justice for All-the Jury" selected by the supreme court forjuror orientation, and "Chrysler: Once Upon a Time and Now" for PBS.
