"I designed this hat while sitting on a bluff on the Niagara escarpment overlooking Lake Michigan. It was an early fall day with a bit of chill in the air and there were a few white caps on the horizon. Just the kind of day for which sitting and knitting by the fire is made. The result is this warm and toasty cap celebrating the Great Lakes." ~ Joan
