Allison writes, “Buggiflooer is the Shetland word for sea campion which, growing in abundance around Shetland’s coast, is the inspiration behind this design. In my designs I like to support Shetland language and culture by using Shetland words keeping them in the forefront of people’s minds.”

Knitting in the round, two-color stranded knitting, following a chart.
Size:
Small, medium. large.
Included:
Six colors of Jamieson’s Spindrift, 100% Shetland wool (42 g total, enough for any size in the pattern) OR
Six colors of Jamieson & Smith Supreme Jumper Weight, 100% Shetland wool (full skeins, 750 g total).
You will need:
Pattern, found here.
Needles and notions: US 3/3.25 mm needles for circular knitting or size to achieve gauge.
Stitch marker, tapestry needle.
Hand wash in cold water. Lay flat to dry.
