Join us for Crochet Day 2026: A Celebration of Crochet! Choose from three different ways to celebrate with us. Beginning Crochet, Lavender Bookmark, or Tunisian Crochet. Each participant will receive a goodie bag with special treats so you can continue the celebration on your crochet journey. For ages 12+ accompanied by a participating adult.
Beginning Crochet - Participants will learn how to make a slip knot, create a chain for a foundation row, and complete a single crochet. These are the first steps to all crochet stitches. We will be making a long chain to begin with learning how to hold the hook and yarn and then progress to a single crochet mug rug.
Agenda:
Participants are on their own for lunch, noon to 1:00 pm.

Required Supplies/Equipment/Books:
Scissors, Mug Rug Kit which will include a wound cake of Berroco Vintage worsted weight yarn and a Prym US H/5.0 mm hook.
Class fee includes:
Pattern, handouts, locking stitch markers, and other helpful notions.
Prerequisite:
Must be willing to crochet right-handed.
Pre-Class Prep:
Purchase required kit prior to 5//3/2026. You may order it online and pickup in-store the day of the event.
