Diamond Du Jour pattern

Our “My First Fair Isle Hat” has been a staple in our introductory Fair Isle classes for years and years. I decided we needed a new choice, with lighter colors and this is that. Diamond Du Jour is a great hat to learn on as the background color never changes and the pattern colors are fairly simple. I think the colors are fresh and the crown motif makes for a pretty ending” ~Joan

Size:
Approximately 21". Adjust size by changing the needle size.

Yarn:
Fingering weight, sample made with Jamieson’s Spindrift (25 g, 115 yds/105 m). 
Six colors: 
(A)    105 Eesit - 165 yds (151 m);
(B)    323 Cardinal - 32 yds (29 m);
(C)    526 Spice - 19 yds (17 m);
(D)    540 Coral - 13 yds (12 m);
(E)    805 Spruce - 25 yds (23 m);
(F)    770 Mint - 13 yds (12 m).

Needles and Notions:
US 1/2.25 mm and US 3/3.25 mm for circular knitting or size to achieve gauge.
Stitch marker, tapestry needle.

Skills:
Knitting in the round, two-color stranded knitting, following a chart.
