“In 2024, Michigan Fiber Festival is host to BLU – the Blue Faced Leicester Union – celebrating the BFL breed. BFLs are known for their Roman nose, blue faces and their silky, durable wool. The unique profile of the breed made it perfect for a double-knit hat made with BFL wool. The spiderweb motif harkens to Charlotte’s Web and positive affirmations: That’s some sheep!” ~Joan
