These hardwood shuttles were designed by Joan Sheridan and hand crafted by Jack Querio. Most of the shuttles are made of locally sourced hardwoods — maple, cherry, and black walnut, but sometimes he sends along other woods, too. If you prefer a dark or light-colored shuttle (or want one of each), please let us know in the comments. Otherwise, we are happy to select one just for you.
Shuttles are approximately 1.5 inches tall and 4, 5 or 6 inches wide. Wind warp on them using a figure-8 motion on the square side opposite the knife edge.
