In this 2-part class you will learn to knit in a small group. We’ll start with casting on (getting yarn onto the needles), then making the knit stitch, purl stitch and binding off. We’ll talk about stitch patterns, yarn choice, finding and reading knitting patterns, ideas for beginner projects and resources if you get stuck.
This class is for anyone brand new to knitting as well as those interested in refreshing their skills. Karrie is a patient and encouraging instructor, which along with the small class size, ensures you can go at your own pace and get all your questions answered.
Ages 12+, students 8-11 may register along with a registered adult. To get the most out of the class, it is important you attend both classes, as make ups may not be available.
