This British Bluefaced Leicester (BFL) is a strong, robust yarn with a gentle toothy texture and lots of luster. It has a 4ply construction and a firm twist. The yarn makes a nice lightweight fabric, with an even stitch definition.
Even though it does not contain nylon, it is suitable for socks because of the inherent characteristics of the breed Perfect for lace or textured knitting. The natural white color takes coior beautifully.
