Texsolv System heddles are made in joined bundles of 100 (except the 220 and 392 mm sizes which are packaged in a bundles of 40 and 50 respectfully). The strong, durable polyester does not stretch, is knot-free and slides easily on the heddle bar. The open construction of heddles facilitates threading and eliminates warp friction. The heddles are quieter than metal heddles. The material can be dyed to indicate harness sets for easier threading.
Heddle sizes for standard looms are Indicated by the color of the twist ties used to bundle the heddles. To measure your loom for heddles, measure from the top of the top heddle bar to the bottom of the bottom heddle bar. Don’t forget to add the width of the bar for those looms with thicker heddle bars. All heddles are white and sold in packages of 100 unless otherwise indicated. In sizes where BLUE heddles are available (Louet Spring and David), black, yellow, red, orange and green are also available by special order.
We strongly recommend that you measure your heddle length in millimeters and not inches for greatest accuracy.
