The book begins with general advice about knitting and yarn quality, followed by instructions for a number of garments, including cardigans, sweaters, mittens and legwarmers for children and adults. Explanations with drawings and colour diagrams make knitting easier. Karin’s source of inspiration has been Swedish Patterns for Art Weaves and Embroidery (1892) by Jakob Kulle, who was born in the southern-most province of Sweden, Skane, which sas the greatest wealth of decorative weaves in Sweden.
