“Each year since 2019, I have designed a hat as a teaching tool to introduce at Michigan Fiber Festival. Each of the hats has a fiber and/or Michigan theme. The 2021 hat has a Michigan summer theme. Designed in the dark days of Covid, it reminded me of hope and summer and all the good that surrounds us. Sun, pines, Great Lakes, and cherries! I hope it makes you smile. Eight colors of Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift 100% Shetland wool (54 g total).
You will need:
Needles and notions: US F/3.75 mm crochet hook or size to achieve gauge.
Stitch marker, tapestry needle.
Hand wash in cold water. Lay flat to dry.
