Description: You have your sock machine now what!? Starting from scratch, learn how to take your machine apart to clean, make all the correct adjustments and how to start knitting on your machine without a cast-on bonnet. Learn to adjust your machine to get the proper tension for the yarn you are using and the proper weight. Learn the best yarns to use. We will also discuss tools and how to use them.
Class project – making a cast-on bonnet. Skills learned include casting on, yarn management, proper tension, hung hem, picot, finishing and the parts of your machine.

Prerequisite: Some general knowledge of how the machine works is helpful but not necessary.
Pre-Class Prep: Yarn wound on a cone.
