Day/Date/Time: Sunday, 5/19/2024, from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. This class meets once.

Description: This compact loom is perfect for dipping your toes into the weaving waters. In this class you will make a scarf using a lux yarn that feels and looks scrumptious. Using good yarn always makes your project shine! You will learn how to dress the loom, how to weave and a bit about how to plan a project. Looms are available for in-store use, however, please plan ahead as not all new weavers finish the project during class time and you may have to return to the shop during regular hours to complete it. We have two class looms available for use.

Required Supplies/Equipment/Books: Two skeins Malabrigo Dos Tierras – either two of one color way or one solid and one multicolored (wind into balls prior to class). In addition, a tape measure, large tapestry needle, and sharp scissors will be needed.

Prerequisite: None. No prior weaving experience required.

Pre-Class Prep: Wind your yarn into balls.

Instructor: Joan Sheridan

Maximum: 6 students

Fee: $80.00
