Inspiration for the designs in this collection came from my photography, my imagination, and from textiles I saw in homes, businesses, and museums in Norway. I appreciate the krokbragd tradition, but I also enjoy using the weave structure and taking it out of the traditional. Turned Krokbragd is a great next step after learning plain weave on the inkle. If you are unfamiliar with the technique, you will benefit from my monograph Turned Krokbragd for the Inkle Loom. It provides a more in-depth explanation of the structure than contained in this instruction set.” ~Joan
